MAMAZU (HOLE AND HOLLAND)

90年代中期頃からDJとして活動を始める。今は無きclub青山MIXの洗礼を浴び音と人、空間に触発され多種多様な音を吸収。小箱から大箱、野外まで独自の視点で形成される有機的なプレイを続け、今を踊らせる。
 トラック制作では幾つかの SkateDVD に楽曲を提供。 2018年には大阪の GROUND 主宰、ChillMountainから『ENCHANT』をデジタルリリース。Brazil の Tropical Twista Records や Germany に拠点を置く SHIKA SHIKA からは France の Alizarina とのセッションを構築した楽曲を立て続けにリリースした。自身の HOLE AND HOLLAND からは 4 曲入りの 12 inch ep “NEW LIGHT EP” をリリースし、Nicola Cruz や Rafael Aragon とも共鳴し 10inch vinyl で Remix ep がリリースされる。また BLACK SHEEP の COGEE . SUNGA とのライブユニット『DELTA THREE』では SYNTH や SE を担当し、2枚のコンピレーションで楽曲を発表した。J.A.K.A.M. aka Moochy や CHURASHIMA NAVIGATOR の RMX では HOBOBRAZIL とのユニット、MamaBrazil 名義にて Remix がリリースされた。それらの楽曲は Acid Arab や Altz、Dengue Dengue Dengue、Eye、Nicola Cruz にもスピンされ世界各地でフロアを揺らしている。
 また SON OF THE CHEESE や GOODHOOD (UK) , Journal Standard、Russian の “Amateur Exotic” 、Seoul の “Tonal Unity” へ MIX を提供し、2017/12月には HOLE AND HOLLAND の楽曲のみを使用したレーベル・ショーケースとなる MIXCD アルバム『MAGIC NUMBER』をリリース。Tastee T Productionからは自身初となる Mixtape “EXOTICA” をリリースした。
アパレルショップのBGMの選曲やグラフィックデザイナーとしても様々な媒体を手掛けるなど活動は多岐にわたる。

Mamazu started to DJ since middle of the 90’. 
His dj style has inspired a lot by diversity of sounds, people, and atmosphere at Club Aoyama MIX (closed) at the beginning of his dj life. He plays music with his own senses and groove with an established reputation from people at bars, big clubs, outdoor festival, and overseas. 
In making music, he provided some songs to Skateboard DVDs. In 2018, Digital album “ENCHANT” is also released from ChillMountain which is hosted by GROUND from Osaka in Japan. It spread to all over the world and being played right after it released. He also did session with Alizarina (France) and the song is released from Tropical Twista Records (Brazil) and SHIKA SHIKA (Germany) in a row. In the latest,  he released his own songs in 12inch EP “NEW LIGHT EP” from his label HOLE AND HOLLAND (Tokyo). Moreover, he has another unit name MAMABRAZIL with HOBOBRAZIL (Tokyo). They made remix for “COUNTER POINT RMX” of an artist J.A.K.A.M. aka Moochy (Tokyo). This song is gained popularity and released with 12inch EP. All of these songs are played by Acid Arab (France), Altz (Tokyo), Dengue Dengue Dengue (Peru), EYE (Tokyo), Nicola Cruz (Ecuador) and many artists all over the world.
Also, he provided mix for clothing brands “SON OF THE CHEESE”, “Journal Standard”, and Exotic / Ritual Community: Amateur Exotic (Russia). His label has released MIXCD “MAGIC NUMBER” with only their songs in 2017. His first mixtape “EXOTICA” is also released from Tastee T Production (Tokyo).
