J.A.K.A.M. (NXS / CROSSPOINT)

東京出身。15歳からバンドとＤＪの活動を並行して始め、スケートボードを通して知り合ったメンバーで結成されたバンドEvilPowersMeの音源は、結成後すぐにアメリカのイラストレイターPusheadのレーベル等からリリースされる。DJとしてもその革新的でオリジナルなスタイルが一世を風靡し、瞬く間に国内外の巨大なフェスからアンダーグランドなパーティまで活動が展開される。 ソロの楽曲制作としても米Grand RoyalからのBuffalo Daughterのリミックスを皮切りに、Boredoms等のリミックス等メジャー、インディー問わず様々なレーベルからリリースされる。2003年にキューバで現地ミュージシャンとレコーディングツアーを敢行したのを皮切りに、その後世界各地で録音を重ね、新たなWorld Musicの指針として、立ち上げたレーベルCrosspointを始動。
音楽制作のみならず、映像作品、絵本や画集 のプロデュース、2012年には野外フェスOoneness Camp"縄文と再生”を企画するなど活動は多岐に渡るが、
2015年から始まった怒濤の９ヶ月連続ヴァイナルリリースは大きな話題になり、その年末には４作目のアルバムをリリース、その影響でベルリン／イスラエルのレーベルMalka Tutiから新作がワールドワイドにリリースされる。2017年、DJ TasakaとのHIGHTIME Inc.、2018年、Nitro Microphone UndergroundのMacka-ChinとPart2StyleのMaLとのユニットZen Rydazの活動もスタート。
同年、J.A.K.A.M.名義の楽曲がフランスのレーベルHardFistからアナログリリースされた流れで３万人の巨大フェスNuits Sonores Festivalでのライブを皮切りにヨーロッパ、イスラエル等のDJツアーが敢行される。そして2019年、世界的な支持を受けるMinilogue/Son KiteのMarcus HenrikssonとKuniyukiとのユニットMYSTICSの制作が始まり、今年2020年からいよいよ本格始動、待望のアルバムが近日リリースされるなど、そのオリジナルなヴィジョンがあらゆるジャンルをまたぎ、世界に広がっている。


J.A.K.A.M. (JUZU a.k.a. MOOCHY / NXS / CROSSPOINT)
native of Tokyo, has been one of the leading figures developing music scenes in Japan from the early 90s as a DJ, producer, label owner and a band member. He has been exposed to all genres of music from House, Hip Hop, Drum&Bass, Techno, Reggae, Jazz, Rock to World Music. He combines these inspirations and turns them into a sound that's sort of a fusion of early stage tribal house and world music with a touch of tribal vibes. His one of a kind music offers the most unique experience on a dance floor.
From his travel around the world, recording music and DJing, he has extended his fans on both sides of the decks, listeners and artists. 

Both listeners and artists alike admire his work in Japan. From contemporary
to roots, he delves into new visions of sound and conjures something new.
And his style keeps evolving and defies categorization.

He's releasing many works from his label Crosspoint & these labels:
Grand Royal,Werner Japan,Bacteria Sour,Comma,Sound Channel,Natural Resource,Motech,Sacred Rhythm, Hard Fist & Malka Tuti.

日本を代表するベースミュージック・クルーPART2STYLEのメンバー。 クルー内では、主にMCとプロデューサーを務める。 オールドテイストなサウンドシステムスタイルのMCを特徴とするが、 幅広い音楽経験によって培われたそのスタイルは、もはやオリジナル。







KENJI IKEGAMI

地無し尺八 製管師 / 演奏家 

2004年頃より日本各地に古来から伝わる曲 虚無尺八(古典本曲)をライフワークとして尺八を始める。
その後虚無尺八を中心として、インプロビゼーションやドローンミュージック等 原始的な手法を取り入れ、音源制作・トラックメーカーへの音源提供・演奏活動を行う。また2010年からよりオリジナルを求め、尺八製作を開始。8年の修行を経て2018年「池上銘地無し尺八」を立ち上げる。自然の響きに焦点をあて製作される池上銘は、濃密で有機的な倍音を生み出し、古典本曲演奏家に評価されている。現在、竹林をゼロから作るプロジェクトも始め、自然を通した音作りの幅を広げている。

Jinashishakuhachi maker & player

Kenji Ikegami started playing shakuhachi since 2004, with playing Komujakuhachi(Honkyoku), as his lifework. 
While he focuses on the komujakuhachi, his music performance incorporating primitive music techniques,improvisation, and drone music. He also provides these sound sources to track makers.
For seeking more original sounds, he started making shakuhachi.After eight years of craftsmanship training, he started his original shakuhachi brand “Ikegami Meiji Jinashi'' in 2018.Each Ikegami Jinashi is handcrafted, focusing on producing the bamboo's natural sounds. Ikegami Jinashi creates an organic sound full of brilliant richness and depth when you play the instrument and has gained recognition by Shakuhachi Honkyoku players.
Currently, he has started a project to make bamboo forest from scratch and expanding the possibility of creating sounds from nature.
